Why is Green Tea so good for you?
Everyone talks about green tea as being excellent for your health, but what are the specifics? Why is it so good? In terms of weight loss there are two main factors: Caffeine and EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate). These two ingredients have been proven to speed up the metabolism and prevent the storage of body fat. Not only does it aid in losing body fat but the worst kind: Visceral Fat. Visceral Fat is linked to Type 2 Diabetes and Heart Disease, making Green Tea and excellent choice for Healthy Weight Loss.
When concerning health, Green Tea has some excellent benefits:
- Studies show that Green Tea inhibits the growth of Cancer cells
- Lowers Cholesterol, improving the HDL (Good Cholesterol) to LDL (bad Cholesterol) Ratio
- Normalises blood pressure levels
- Blocks bad bacteria improving the condition of the intestines
- Great source of Antioxidants
